The Queen of Hearts is a progressive 50/50 raffle where players buy tickets for a chance to find the Queen and win the jackpot. The first drawing is at 7:30 pm on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Sturdy Shelter Brewing (10 Shumway Avenue in Batavia.) Proceeds benefit Tri City Health Partnership.
Buying Tickets
- Purchase tickets at Sturdy Shelter Brewing during their regular business hours.
- Tickets are $5 each.
- Tickets will be sold until 7:00 PM on the Monday of the drawing.
Game Objective
- The goal is to choose a number on the sealed game board that you believe holds the Queen of Hearts card.
- The Queen of Hearts is hidden among 54 numbered cards in the sealed board. Each one holds a card from the deck. 2 jokers are included in the deck.
Drawing Process
- Each Monday, beginning February 16th, a drawing will be held, and one player’s ticket will be randomly selected.
- The game board number written on the player's ticket will then be opened to reveal the playing card.
- If the revealed playing card is the Queen of Hearts, the player wins the grand prize and will be paid 50% of the pot. The other 50% goes to Tri City Health Partnership.
- If the revealed playing card is not the Queen of Hearts, the jackpot pot rolls over to the next week, and all raffle tickets for that drawing are destroyed.
Key Rules
- You must be 18 years old to play.
- You do not need to be present to win.
- You must CLEARLY write your legal name and phone number on the ticket and the number of the playing card you want revealed.

All winnings over $600 are subject to taxes being removed.
If a prize of greater than $5,000 is awarded, the winner will need to confirm their identity and Social Security Number by completing and signing an IRS Form W-2G. In addition, the IRS requires a withholding of 28% of the winnings less the amount of the wager. Winnings will not be distributed until the W-2G has been completed and signed. If a player is unwilling or unable to provide any of the listed, the prize money will revert to Tri City Health Partnership. This may take up to two weeks.
If you do not agree with the rules of the game for this Queen of Hearts game benefiting Tri City Health Partnership, there is no obligation to play.
Tri City Health Partnership reserves the right to amend the rule as needed prior to any week's drawing. Tri City Health Partnership also retains the right to change the date of the drawing as needed.
